Item Title
C-12 Mileage paid to Parents and Group Homes for 2016-17.
Issue/Rationale
In certain cases the ESE Department, in conjunction with the
Transportation Department, must authorize mileage for parents or group homes to
transport students.
Examples of such cases include no available bus, medical issues
which cannot be resolved, significant behavior difficulties, or other special
issues. We are required to provide transportation, and thus provide mileage
reimbursement.
Recommended Action
Approve paying mileage.
Financial Impact
The total cost of transportation is expected to be less than $10,000.00.
